On 2nd June, in cooperation with VERITAS and with vast participation organised by Venice Lagoon Plastic Free, MAELSTROM organizes a clean up in Venice. This event will use the mobile application already successfully developed as part of the MAELSTROM project. MAELSTROM joins World Cleanup Day 2022, an international initiative that brings together volunteers, governments and organizations from more than 190 countries to tackle the global problem of Marine Litter (ML). This is also the mission of MAELSTROM, which on September 17th will promote a multidisciplinary beach clean-up in the city of Vila do Conde, Portugal.
